Hello, I'm Jules, the author of The Animal Gazette.

I came up with The Animal Gazette because of a simple reason: I love animals, and I want to share the genuinely bizarre and wonderful things they do. I don't have a zoology degree or any background in animal research, but I have a passion for learning about the natural world. Every month, I pick one species, search the entire web, and come back with the most fascinating facts I can find. It lands in your inbox on the first Tuesday of the month, completely for free.

This is very much a hobby born out of curiosity, but I try to take it very seriously. I fact-check everything I write, and I cite my sources. If you find an error, please let me know! I want to make sure that the information I share is accurate and reliable.
